To create a demographic or business report for an area of San Francisco:
Note this feature displays:
A) Demographic data reports that compare current demographic data projections to the last Census year data was collected; and
B) Current business mix and business inventory reports by business type.
  1. Select the type of geography by which you want to search. Your options are searches by ZIP Code, Supervisor District, Redevelopment Area, Neighborhood, NMI Corridor, or Census Tract.
  2. From the new drop down list, select the geographic area you want.
  3. Click on the search button under the type of report you want either section 1) demographic, consumer expenditure and workforce reports located; or section 2) business mix and inventory report.
  4. Then click on the report you want - demographic, consumer expenditure and business and workforce repots are on the first drop-down list; business mix and inventory report is below.
  5. Click on the calculate button under the section you prefer.
To create a property profile data search report: This feature displays the zoning and other information on specific properties including whether a specific property is located within a designated enterprise zone.*
* Enterprise Zone: if a parcel or business is located in a designated enterprise zone it may be eligible for state and local tax credit programs.
  1. Type in the Address of the property that you would like information on;
  2. Click on the search button.
