San Francisco Enterprise GIS Program

The San Francisco Enterprise Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Program provides world-class mapping expertise, data, and applications for the City and County of San Francisco. Hosted in the Department of Technology (DT), our key goals are to 1) maintain and provide high-quality spatial resources to City departments and the public, 2) offer essential mapping services to citizens thru SFgov.org, and 3) avoid unnecessary and redundant effort, and therefore reduce costs, by managing spatial data sets that are used throughout the enterprise (City departments).
